Lucknow: In line with the Uttar Pradesh Government’s Monsoon Plantation Campaign, which aims to plant over 350 million saplings across the state this year, Agresheel Infratech has launched a large-scale plantation drive at its residential project, Ashrayam, in Lucknow to mark Van Mahotsav. As part of its environmental commitment, the company has pledged to plant nearly 3,000 trees within the project during the current monsoon season.
Alongside the plantation drive, the project is also implementing an effective rainwater harvesting system to promote water conservation and groundwater recharge, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainable development.
The Uttar Pradesh Government’s plantation campaign is regarded as a significant initiative to enhance the state’s green cover, promote environmental conservation, and address the challenges of climate change. Supporting this vision, Agresheel Infratech has undertaken a large-scale tree plantation initiative within its residential township. The plantation drive was inaugurated during a Van Mahotsav event, where company officials and employees actively participated by planting saplings.
The company believes that environmental conservation should not remain confined to government initiatives alone, and that meaningful participation from the private sector and citizens is equally essential to creating a sustainable future.

Speaking on the occasion, Preksha Singh, CEO, Agresheel Infratech, said, “The Uttar Pradesh Government’s campaign to plant over 350 million saplings is a remarkable step towards environmental conservation, and greater participation from the private sector can further strengthen such initiatives. At Ashrayam, we are planting nearly 3,000 trees while making rainwater harvesting an integral part of the project. Our objective is not only to enhance green cover but also to conserve rainwater and contribute to groundwater recharge. We believe sustainable development is possible only when environmental responsibility and modern infrastructure progress together.”
According to the company, special emphasis will also be placed on the long-term maintenance and protection of the planted trees to ensure that the initiative makes a lasting contribution to the area’s green ecosystem.
Agresheel Infratech has also appealed to citizens to make tree plantation and rainwater conservation a part of their daily lives. The company believes that such collective efforts can play a crucial role in addressing future challenges related to water scarcity and climate change.
